Possible additions to the Encarta 2004 Reference Library Plus DVD edition™
Plants Page
© David L. Ross 2003

Images on this page are provided for species accounts, articles or descriptions in the 2004 edition for which there is currently not an image available. So if you search for Crape Myrtle in Encarta, you will see an article but no image. This page was last updated on 11/19/03.

The purpose of this page, like the vertebrate page, is to provide possibilities for inclusion in the next edition, which MS can license from David Ross (the photographer and copyright owner). Images will not be provided on this page without the photographer's 100 percent confidence level in identification. I'm a life-long naturalist, wildlife biologist by schooling, with some training in plant science and dendrology (not a botanist). Species such as Poison Ivy, I've a long acquaintance with. Scientific names will be provided if requested. Let me know if this is of use, and if more examples would be desired or helpful. David Ross is not affiliate with Microsoft, this is not a Microsoft web site. The information here is not registered with any search engine.
