These files have been placed here as samples for the producers and media aquisition people at Microsoft Encarta™ . This site provides examples of media for topics and articles covered in Encarta 2004 "Reference Library Pus DVD" that do not currently have image and or sound files available. So--if you do a search on a subject such as "Antbird" you will find a nice article already existing in the latest Encarta edition, but you will see no photo, and hear no sound. My goal is to provide ready made files to license to MS. This site has not been registered with any search engines to date.

All materials--sounds, images and text, are the copyrighted property of David L. Ross. This page is being updated reguarly as I locate more media for possible inclusion the next edition. Space is currently limited to150mb of space, and for now I'm providing mostly images. There are however, sounds for many of the species shown below, especially in instances where the animal is from Costa Rica or North America. For further information about materials or permission for use please contact me at <rossdl@earthlink.net> (919) 477-1041, cell (919) 491-7969
